Description
The THOR
Intruder Alarm System is a high security system ideal for high-risk sites.
With its
extensive programming facilities it covers a very large number of
applications, ranging from banks to large commercial and industrial sites.
In its basic
configuration it can manage up to 30 or up to 120 detector inputs and 30
or up to 120 outputs for sirens,
lights, transmitters, etc.
The THOR Alarm
System stores 1.000 events. It handles up to 250 different user codes with
every code corresponding to a user area. A priority level is designated to
each user.
The whole
system or parts of it can be managed automatically by the flexible
auto-set/unset time zones, taking holiday period’s etc. into
consideration.

Up to 30
intruder keypads and/or readers as well as a PC can be connected to the
system.
For
high-risk customers the THOR Intruder Alarm System satisfies their most
rigorous security demands.
Interconnection
of two or more THOR Intruder Alarm Systems allows the installation to grow
to thousands of alarm points.
Input/Outputs.
On the
Processing Unit itself, inputs and outputs are found, for the use with an
alarm transmitter.
In general,
all detectors will be connected to the system via
S-ART modules
(Serial Addressable Receiver and Transmitter). The S-ART modules will
allow individual identification of each detector connected to the system,
ease the installation and give a high level of security.

Programming
The system can
be programmed directly through on any connected Remote Keypad and via the
THOR Configuration System.
The
Configuration System allows the programmer to define all system parameters
while working on a IBM-compatible PC in a user friendly Windows
environment.
The
configuration files may then be down loaded into the system, using either
a direct connection between a PC and the Intruder Alarm System, or via the
public switched telephone network.
Integrated Systems
The THOR
Intruder Alarm System integrates with the THOR Access Control and Video
Verification System. It ensures an efficient and economical solution to
high-level security requirements.
